Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our Board of Directors. As a Non-Executive Director, you will play a vital role in guiding the strategic direction of our organisation and ensuring that we remain true to our values and mission.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing guidance and oversight to our executive team
  • Ensuring that our programmes and activities are aligned with our mission and achieve their short-term goals and long-term purpose
  • Monitoring our financial performance and ensuring that we maintain good governance practices
  • Representing our organisation at various forums and events

Key Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A deep understanding of the cultural, political, economic, and social context of the Pacific region
  • Sufficient time to commit to Board work (approximately 15-20 hours per month)
  • Experience in Greenpeace, campaigning, or related fields
  • Relevant governance experience and skills
  • The ability to think critically and strategically
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
