Senior Investigation Leader

Our organization is seeking a senior leader to oversee investigations in the early childhood education and care sector.
About the Role- Lead a team of investigators responsible for conducting high-priority, complex, and sensitive investigations.
- Develop staff skills and competencies to deliver investigative activities according to relevant laws and regulations.
- Provide expert advice on investigations, sanctions, and compliance matters.
This is a full-time fixed-term position at the VPS6 level based in Melbourne CBD. The role involves leading strategic planning, providing expert advice, and collaborating with regional teams.
Key Responsibilities- Investigate alleged contraventions, collect evidence, and write reports.
- Plan and conduct operational investigations, gather evidence, and identify information in a court-admissible manner.
- Interpret legislation, standards, guidelines, and practices to ensure effective regulation of the ECEC sector.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and have strong interpersonal skills.
- A valid Victorian Working with Children's Check.
- A Victorian driver's license.
Desirable qualifications include a Cert IV or Diploma in Government Investigations or equivalent, along with relevant experience in regulatory or criminal investigations.
