About the Role

Our retirement village in Grovedale is seeking a skilled and caring Community Living Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting day-to-day operations at the village, implementing operational plans and projects, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and maintaining resident satisfaction. They will also contribute to effective resident management, foster strong customer relationships, and support delivery of village maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Village Manager in managing village operations
  • Implement operational plans and projects to improve resident experience
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Maintain high levels of resident satisfaction through excellent customer service
  • Contribute to effective resident management and support delivery of village maintenance
  • Provide assistance with budget preparation and financial processing
  • Support the provision of a safe working environment for staff, contractors, visitors, and residents

Requirements

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Able to balance different priorities and manage day-to-day expectations for residents and their families
  • A proactive and can-do attitude with a willingness to learn and professionally develop
  • Strong people management and problem-solving skills
  • Ideal for those from a Customer Service, Property, or Hospitality management background
