**Job Role:** Support Worker

Deivian Care Services is a NDIS registered and Aged Care service provider. Our vision is to make a difference in our partners' lives by focusing on meeting their needs and care goals, as well as helping them feel supported, and maximizing their independence.

As a deeply grounded NDIS and Aged Care provider, we require Support Workers on a casual premise with a view towards permanency. One should be adaptable and flexible to work with individuals with diverse special needs and to help frail, older people, including the prematurely aged, living in the community to maximize their independence.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and assistance with living skills, connections with the community, personal and social development, employment, education, and training.
  • Assist participants with ADL's, money, health and wellbeing, general life skills, and recreational activities as part of their care management plans.
  • As appropriate, create client file notes and assist with administrative responsibilities to ensure that operations function effectively.
  • Empower participants to pursue significant goals and make a positive influence in the lives of people.

**Requirements:

  • Relevant qualification in Disability/Aged Care/Individual Support/Social Work
  • Experience using a hoist to move clients
  • Full Victorian Driver's License and your own vehicle (registered in your name)
  • National Criminal Check
  • Working with Children Check
  • First Aid & CPR (or willingness to get one)
  • Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate
  • Manual Handling (not mandatory but preferable)
