Job Opportunity

The Lead Manufacturing Technical Officer will play a pivotal role in the successful execution of the SSN AUKUS Build Program.

This position demands a highly skilled individual to collaborate with the Operations Team and end-users in identifying and procuring commercially available equipment and tooling required for building the SSN AUKUS at the Nuclear-Powered Submarine Construction Yard (SCY) at Osborne, South Australia.

  • Collaborate in identifying and procuring commercially available equipment and tooling for the SSN AUKUS Build Program.
  • Develop detailed performance specifications and maintain accurate equipment documentation.
  • Work closely with procurement teams to facilitate timely procurement activities.
  • Ensure delivery assurance for fixed standard and portable equipment, tooling, and consumables, including commissioning and training.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Integrate security, safety, and ICT requirements into processes and documentation.
  • Provide regular progress updates and reports to stakeholders.

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance to an NV1 level. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
