EOC Technical Specialist

The key responsibility of the Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) Technical Specialist is to lead high-level technical direction regarding all critical operational Information and Communication Technology (ICT) which are crucial for the delivery of the EOC. This role requires the incumbent to ensure that ICT services align with SAAS objectives.
The EOC Technical Specialist will be responsible for operational ICT services, including system design, configuration, and deployment. This role will also require quality control of these works and coordinating the SAAS technical testing of systems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing expert technical advice on complex ICT planning, design, implementation, and testing activities.
- Establishing and maintaining significant relationships with stakeholders and state agencies.
- Developing risk management strategies for critical EOC ICT systems to ensure stability and business continuity.
This role reports to the General Manager, Critical Systems within the Critical Operational Services Directorate.
The ideal candidate will have experience in leading technical teams and providing expert technical guidance. They will be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders and provide strategic technical direction.
