Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Area Manager. This position involves providing impactful leadership, empowering team performance, and ensuring commercial returns in line with operational plans.

You will oversee multiple sites across the region, maintain a deep understanding of local caseloads, and adapt servicing to local requirements. Your primary goal will be to enable each member of the team to develop their skills and consistently provide best possible servicing through training, coaching, and oversight.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide impactful leadership aligned to Salvation Army values, mission, and strategic plans
  • Empower team performance and productivity
  • Oversight of multiple sites across the region
  • Maintain a deep understanding of local caseloads
  • Adapt servicing to local requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications:

We are looking for an individual with tertiary qualifications in Employment Services, Community Services, or other relevant areas. You must have experience leading or delivering an employment or other relevant support service, including advanced barrier management and placement of candidates into employment.

A strong ability to problem-solve and communicate to a wide variety of stakeholders is essential. Additionally, you must be able to achieve and exceed business targets and KPIs.
