Audio Visual Technician

We are seeking highly skilled professionals to join our team in Canberra. As a key member of the Multimedia and Publishing Services Section, you will be responsible for designing, installing and supporting audio visual systems that connect to our networks.

In this role, you will be accountable for creating AV system documentation based on design standards. You will also follow AV design documentation to install AV and video conferencing hardware, and design, program and configure AV control systems including user interfaces and audio/video processors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing, installing and maintaining AV systems.
  • Creating AV system documentation based on design standards.
  • Installing AV and video conferencing hardware.
  • Designing, programming and configuring AV control systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.

  • Prior industry experience designing, installing, operating or servicing AV systems is essential.
