Audio Visual Specialist

Job Role: The role of an Audio Visual Specialist is a key position within the Command Centre. It requires strong technical skills, particularly in using audio visual equipment, including Microsoft Teams Rooms.
The specialist will work closely with other staff members to ensure that all audio and visual devices are operational prior to meetings. This includes remedying issues regarding audio and visual equipment in various rooms. The specialist must also communicate effectively with other audio visual specialists as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice on audio-visual equipment usage.
- Remediate issues regarding audio and visual equipment in various rooms.
- Ensure audio and visual devices are operational prior to meetings.
- Communicate with other audio-visual specialists as needed.
Requirements:
- Technical skills in using audio visual equipment, including Microsoft Teams Rooms.
- Experience in supporting audio visual equipment and staff using the equipment.
- Computer literacy, particularly with corporate systems and multimedia technologies.
Working Arrangements:
Applicants will work onsite in Canberra. The role operates under direction from a senior officer and assists with providing general support and level 1 audio visual services to the Command Centre.
