Operations Capability Coordinator

We are seeking an Operations Capability Coordinator to join our team in Australia.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with the Hunter Class Frigates and be part of a culture that embraces diversity and open-mindedness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Operations staff capability levels, working collaboratively with Operations line managers to define, capture and report on Operations staff skill requirements
  • Develop and deliver Operations functional training resources to support Operations staff career paths
  • Assist in forecasting for Operations functional training programs
  • Present capability gaps, risks and opportunities to Operations Management, providing recommendations and mitigation activities
  • Process training evidence for production and operations workers for shipyard equipment and tooling

About You

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Australian Defence Clearance or ability to obtain
  • Experience in workforce training and governance support, preferably in shipbuilding, marine or heavy engineering industries
  • Tertiary level qualifications in Engineering, trade or project management discipline (desirable but not essential)
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to communicate with senior stakeholders
