As a vital contributor to our maritime operations across Australia, this role offers the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in a dynamic and challenging environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain vessels, equipment, and safety systems to ensure optimal performance and minimize risk.
  • Assist with vessel operations, including handling, securing, and releasing lines and ropes.
  • Manage stores, supplies, and equipment to maintain smooth operations.
  • Evaluate and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
Requirements
  • A General Purpose Hand Certificate of Competency (or equivalent).
  • Statements of Attainment in Provide First Aid (HLTAID003) and CPR (HLTAID001).
  • A current AMSA Medical and a valid MSIC (or the ability to obtain one).
  • Previous experience in maritime operations is essential, with harbour towage experience being highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • A strong focus on safety, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with basic computer skills and MS Office tools.
