**About the Role**

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team as a Road Service Patrol. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing professional assistance to members and commercial customers who experience unexpected breakdowns.

You will have the satisfaction of making a real difference in people's lives by helping them get back on the road quickly and safely. In this role, you will:

- Carry out roadside repairs and diagnosis using your automotive knowledge and skills.
- Provide appropriate solutions while maintaining exceptional customer service standards.
- Be prepared, focused, and courteous with every customer interaction and conduct yourself in a professional manner.
- Promote all RAA Services and Product offerings when appropriate.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve common goals.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- A minimum trade-level Certificate III in Automotive - Mechanical or Electrical (mandatory)
- An Automotive industry background with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service
- Knowledge of vehicle operation, components, and current-day diagnostic practices with a variety of makes & models of vehicles
- Ability to work shift patterns including mornings, afternoons, evenings, nights, weekends, and public holidays
- Current 'Class C' drivers licence essential
- Must be physically fit to work in all environments, have excellent time management skills, take pride in your work and presentation
- Outstanding attention to detail along with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Be an innovative thinker with the ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities
