Job Title:

A skilled mechanical fitter is required to join our team at Sunny Queen Australia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing, servicing and maintaining plant and equipment at our Carole Park production and warehouse facility.

This is a hands-on role with a reputable company, offering a stable and rewarding environment to the right candidate. Some weekend work and shift flexibility may be available when required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend to breakdown calls
  • Report any faults or issues to the Maintenance Supervisor
  • Support and contribute to a safe work culture on site including the Take 5 System
  • Print, prioritise and administrate work orders
  • Distribute work orders to others as requested
  • Assist in the design and implementation of a spare parts inventory storage area
Requirements:
  • Trade Qualified – Mechanical fitter and Turner
  • Food industry experience (Preferred not essential)
  • Strong time management skills
  • Computer literate
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Able to work autonomously
  • Ability to house-keep work areas to a high standard
  • Ability to communicate effectively with production operators
