The Opportunity

Mechanical professionals who are hands-on and proactive are essential for fixing and maintaining equipment. We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to work on our own mechanical equipment, providing an excellent opportunity for growth into higher-profile roles as the company expands.

We offer a competitive package: £36-42k basic salary, overtime, van and fuel card, 9% pension, 25 days holiday, and healthcare benefits.

The Person

We are open to candidates from various sectors with a strong mechanical background, preferably with experience in plant equipment. Skills in motors, bearings, winches, gearboxes, and LOLER are highly desirable. Ex-forces candidates are encouraged to apply, as they have historically performed well in this role.

The Role

You will focus on the mechanical aspects of projects, which can range from a few thousand to millions of pounds. Responsibilities include maintaining and servicing our own plant and vehicle projects. Experience with large vehicles or industrial equipment is advantageous, but we are open to candidates with relevant sector experience.

The Company

We are a growing multinational company with 55 employees in the UK, aiming to expand our service department.
