Plant and Equipment Maintenance Technician

We are seeking an experienced technician to join our team as a Plant and Equipment Maintenance Technician. This is a hands-on role with a stable and rewarding environment for the right candidate.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend to equipment breakdowns and repair, service, and maintain plant and equipment at our production facility.
  • Report any faults or issues to the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Support and contribute to a safe work culture on site, including the implementation of preventative maintenance measures.
  • Print, prioritize, and administer work orders.
  • Distribute work orders to others as requested.
  • Assist in designing and implementing a spare parts inventory storage area.

Requirements:

  • Trade qualification – Mechanical fitter and Turner.
  • Food industry experience (Preferred but not essential).
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Computer literate.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Able to work autonomously.
  • Ability to house-keep work areas to a high standard.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with production operators.
