We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Vehicle Tyre Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for the removal, inspection, repair, and fitting of tyres for heavy vehicles, trailers, and plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Remove, inspect, repair, and fit tyres for trucks, trailers, plant, and light vehicles
  • Conduct routine pressure checks, rotate tyres, and assess wear patterns
  • Identify and report any tyre-related defects or mechanical concerns
  • Manage tyre stock levels and assist with ordering when required
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
  • Assist with basic mechanical repairs and general maintenance tasks
  • Collaborate with workshop and fleet teams to ensure timely vehicle turnaround
  • Uphold all safety procedures and contribute to a positive safety culture

To succeed in this role, you will require:

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in tyre fitting, preferably within heavy vehicle, transport, or civil industries
  • A current driver's licence (HC licence highly regarded)
  • General Construction Certificate (White or Blue Card)
  • Strong understanding of workplace health and safety practices
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
  • Flexibility to work occasional Saturdays as part of a rotating roster
  • A positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic
