Job Description:

Economic development professionals can leverage their skills to drive growth in the Mid-Western Region. The ideal candidate will develop and implement strategic partnerships with government and industry, focusing on renewable energy opportunities.

About the Role:

This role involves managing relationships with renewable energy proponents, providing recommendations for new industries, and supporting expansion initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders to ensure the best outcomes for the local community and economy.
  • Provide strategic support for the development of new industries and business investment initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Economics, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering projects that promote economic development and/or business investment.
  • Strategic thinking, analytical, and investigative skills, including research and statistical reporting.
  • High-level competency in MS Office.
