Senior Precinct Planner

A pivotal role exists for an accomplished Senior Precinct Planner to spearhead the development of a high-impact precinct planning project in Mudgee. This challenging position will oversee consultant procurement, stakeholder engagement, business case development, and design processes within the framework of a major grant funding agreement.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Navigate funding compliance and coordinate internal and external professionals effectively.
  • Drive outcomes that foster vibrant, inclusive regional growth.
Your Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Urban Planning, Construction Management, or a related discipline is essential.
  • Minimum three years' experience in managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects in planning, infrastructure, or property development is required.
  • Proven ability to manage business case development, feasibility assessments, and planning/design processes is vital.
  • Understanding of local and state government development approval pathways is crucial.
  • Experience in consultant procurement, contract management, and project reporting is necessary.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and stakeholder engagement, are essential.
  • High-level project budgeting, scheduling, and risk management skills are also required.
  • Current Class C Driver's Licence and General Construction Induction Card (White Card) are must-haves.
  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety (WHS) responsibilities and commitment to attending relevant WHS training are highly valued.

This full-time position offers a salary range of $115,000 - $125,000 gross plus superannuation, dependent on skills, qualifications, and experience.
