Estimated Salary: $35 per hour with mileage

We are seeking a highly skilled Fleet Operations Specialist to join our team in Coffs Harbour and Port Macquarie. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for managing our fleet of medical devices, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional customer service.

About the Role:

  • Fleet Management: Oversee the operational excellence of our medical device fleet, coordinating fuel delivery and maintenance schedules to prevent disruptions.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of fuel levels, schedule timely refueling, and ensure we're always stocked up and ready to go.
  • Technical Support: Troubleshoot and coordinate repairs for our fleet pumps, conducting regular inspections and maintenance to keep everything in top-notch condition.
  • Device Coordination: Coordinate devices used in our operations, including phones for patients, tracking, cleaning, and storing devices after use.
  • IT Component: Utilize strong IT skills to log devices on the portal and ensure smooth operation.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze fuel consumption and pump utilization data to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and generate insightful reports.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with regulations and maintain the highest safety standards, conducting training sessions to keep the team sharp on safety procedures.
  • Supplier Management: Foster strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and addressing any issues that may arise.

Requirements and Ideal Profile:

  • Prior experience in fleet management is a must.
  • Qualifications in a relevant field are highly desirable.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in relevant software and knowledge of fuel pump mechanics and regulations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively as a team player.
  • Flexible and willing to learn.
  • Driving license and car required.
