Nurse Manager Perioperative Operations Director

The role of the Nurse Manager - Perioperative Services is pivotal in delivering high-quality care and driving continuous improvement within the Operating Suite, Endoscopy Suite, and Central Sterilising Service Department.
As a strategic leader, this individual will be responsible for providing oversight and direction to ensure the effective management of resources and service delivery. The focus is on fostering a culture of safety, engagement, and excellence.
This position plays a crucial part in meeting both clinical and business objectives by collaborating with key stakeholders. Effective communication, professional growth, and a positive work environment are essential components of this role.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
- Minimum 3 years' management experience in a perioperative setting.
- Relevant postgraduate qualifications in nursing and health management.
- Strong knowledge of ACORN standards and competencies, Commonwealth / State healthcare legislation and accreditation requirements, clinical governance, continuous improvement, and evidence-based practice.
