Job Overview

The ideal candidate will drive talent acquisition, employee development, and performance management to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Talent Acquisition: Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and ensure the best individuals are in place. This includes recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new team members.
  • Employee Development: Implement training and development programs to foster a culture of continuous learning and growth. This may include creating training materials, conducting workshops, and coaching employees.
  • Employee Engagement: Create and maintain a positive work culture that values teamwork. Develop strategies to boost employee engagement, such as recognizing employee achievements and encouraging open communication.
  • Performance Management: Drive performance appraisal processes to help enhance team members' skills and contributions. This includes setting goals, providing feedback, and conducting regular check-ins.
  • People Compliance: Ensure all policies and procedures are up-to-date and in compliance with legislation and industry standards.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in HRM or related field.
  • At least 3 years experience in a similar role.
  • A creative and positive problem-solver with excellent communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in people management and employee relations.
  • Ability to connect with people and have difficult conversations with positive outcomes.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where prioritization is key.
  • Proactive attitude with a desire to continually learn and develop.
