Occupational Therapy Role in Wollongong

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in Wollongong. As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will play a vital role in helping clients return to work and achieving their health and function goals.

Job Description

This is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity for a skilled Occupational Therapist to develop their skills and experience. You will be working closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality rehabilitation services to clients.

Responsibilities
  • Proactively manage a caseload of Same Employer clients
  • Engage with various customers, including Workers' Compensation, DVA, CTP, Life Insurance, and non-compensable injuries
  • Perform Initial, Workplace, Functional, and Ergonomic Assessments
  • Attend case conferences, liaise with stakeholders, and develop RTW plans to achieve outcomes
  • Build robust relationships and generate repeat referrals
Requirements
  • AHPRA-registered Occupational Therapist with eligibility to perform Workplace Rehab services under SIRA
  • 1 year+ of rehabilitation or clinical experience preferred; motivated graduates also welcome to apply
  • A team player with strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Passionate about assisting clients return to work
