Job Description:

We are seeking experienced professionals to join our team as Occupational Rehabilitation Specialists.

As an Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist, you will work closely with clients, employers, and medical professionals to provide expert advice and support in the management of workplace injuries and illnesses.

Your primary responsibility will be to conduct thorough assessments, develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans, and provide ongoing support to clients to achieve successful return-to-work outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' physical and psychological abilities to determine suitability for work-related activities;
  • Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans tailored to clients' needs and goals;
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients throughout the rehabilitation process;
  • Collaborate with employers, medical professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and effective case management;
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of workplace health and safety policies and procedures;
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and research findings to maintain expertise and deliver high-quality services.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Social Work or a related field;
  • Significant experience in occupational rehabilitation, case management, or a related field;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including clients, employers, and medical professionals;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Current driver's license and access to own vehicle with comprehensive insurance;
