About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team at IPAR. As a key member of our occupational rehabilitation team, you will work closely with clients, employers, and healthcare professionals to provide high-quality rehabilitation services and support individuals in achieving their goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored rehabilitation plans to support clients in achieving return to work and return to health outcomes.
  • Collaborate with clients, employers, and healthcare professionals to identify and address barriers to employment and provide education and training to promote workplace safety and injury prevention.
  • Provide case management and support services to clients, including vocational assessments, workplace education, and injury prevention programs.
  • Work across various schemes, including workers compensation, compulsory third party, life insurance, Comcare, Department of Veteran's Affairs, and employer-funded injury prevention programs.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling.
  • General or Provisional registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Psychologist or eligibility for Associate or Full membership with Australian Society of Rehabilitation Counsellors (ASORC).
  • Previous experience working in Occupational Rehabilitation industry would be highly regarded.
  • Fabulous communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with clients, employers, and healthcare professionals.
  • Compassion and kindness, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality rehabilitation services.
