About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Inventory Coordinator to join our Retail Sales team at Inchcape Australia. As an Inventory Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in managing our marketable used vehicle inventory within Inchcape's financial guidelines and purchasing policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze sales trends and market data to optimize vehicle purchasing mix
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations for inventory management
  • Manage wholesale of aged and unsuitable inventory based on reconditioning policy
  • Track and report vehicle inventory across multiple locations and sales platforms
  • Collaborate with Commercial Analyst to ensure competitive pricing for new and used vehicles
  • Manage vehicle listings on Autogate, ensuring accuracy of details, imagery, and pricing
  • Support in-store and online teams to enhance customer experience and repeat business
  • Produce weekly/monthly reports on stock availability, aging inventory, and wholesale performance
  • Coordinate vehicle movements between sites and dealerships, ensuring timely deliveries and quality adherence
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in stock control within the automotive industry or in an inventory-focused role
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and experience with digital platforms
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent negotiation abilities
  • Ability to set and achieve personal goals
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Passion for delivering high-quality customer service
