Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse & Inventory Coordinator to join our dynamic Purchasing & Logistics team at our National Head Office in South Melbourne. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the accurate and efficient management of inventory associated with the maintenance and production of our innovative road safety tech products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inventory Management: Receive, store, and dispatch goods, manage inventory transactions in SAP, and handle return to stock items.
  • Quality Control: Identify discrepancies in picking slips and bills of materials and verify receipt and quantities of materials.
  • Logistics Coordination: Prepare requisitions, route shipments, and ensure outgoing shipments meet specifications.
  • Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe inventory warehouse and storerooms.
  • Support and Optimization: Assist production with material requests, participate in cycle counts and stock takes, and implement Kanban systems.
  • Collaboration and Compliance: Work cooperatively with all stakeholders, recommend process improvements, and adhere to company policies and standards.

  • Organized and logical thinker with a knack for working both independently and within a team.
  • Clear and concise communicator who excels at building relationships and collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
  • Flexibility and adaptability are key, as they embrace both reactive and scheduled work assignments.
  • Accountability and quality are paramount, and they thrive on constructive feedback.
  • A passion for customer advocacy is essential.
  • Proficiency in SAP and ERP, along with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel, is required.
  • Experience in shipping practices and strong communication skills are a must, along with a valid Australian Drivers License.
  • A current Forklift License is highly desirable.
