We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Inventory Coordinator to join our Retail Sales team at Inchcape Australia. As an Inventory Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in managing our marketable used vehicle inventory within our financial guidelines and purchasing policies.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze sales trends and market data to optimize vehicle purchasing mix
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations for inventory management
- Manage wholesale of aged and unsuitable inventory based on reconditioning policy
- Track and report vehicle inventory across multiple locations and sales platforms
- Collaborate with Commercial Analyst to ensure competitive pricing for new and used vehicles
- Manage vehicle listings on Autogate, ensuring accuracy of details, imagery, and pricing
- Support in-store and online teams to enhance customer experience and repeat business
- Produce weekly/monthly reports on stock availability, aging inventory, and wholesale performance
- Coordinate vehicle movements between sites and dealerships, ensuring timely deliveries and quality adherence
- Minimum 2 years of experience in stock control within the automotive industry or in an inventory-focused role
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and experience with digital platforms
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent negotiation abilities
- Ability to set and achieve personal goals
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Passion for delivering high-quality customer service
