Warehouse Excellence

The Inventory Assistant will work closely with the Warehouse Manager to ensure seamless inventory operations within the warehouse. This role is responsible for assisting the Inventory Controller with all inventory-related functions, including cycle counts, stock variances, and inbound variances.

The ideal candidate will possess a Certificate IV in Warehousing (desired but not essential) and have experience in logistics and warehouse management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is also required. SAP knowledge and RF scanning experience are advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in maintaining accurate stock levels across the facility
  • Support the Inventory Controller in investigating and resolving stock variances and inbound variances
  • Identify slow-moving or obsolete stock and contribute to proactive stock location based on seasonality and sales trends

Requirements:

  • Logistics and warehouse experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
  • SAP preferable
  • RF scanning
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, preferably within an apparel and footwear environment
  • English fluent (written and oral)
