Reservations Manager Job Description

At Marriott International, we are seeking a highly skilled Reservations Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring an efficient and smooth operation of the Reservations Department, while maximizing hotel room revenue through effective pricing and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective pricing strategies to maximize revenue and occupancy levels.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer behavior to inform pricing decisions.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement targeted sales strategies to drive bookings and revenue growth.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Manage and develop a high-performing reservations team, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback to ensure team members have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a reservations or revenue management role, preferably in a luxury hospitality setting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, or a related field preferred.
