Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Encourage resident choice and participation in individual and group activities.
  2. Assist in designing, delivering and monitoring group and individual lifestyle services and activities.
  3. Implement innovative events and lifestyle activities for residents and involve the wider community, volunteers and residents' family and friends.
  4. Provide direct resident care during activities such as bus trips, including assisting with personal hygiene and toileting.
  5. Provide direct resident care in relation to meals service, mobility and social support.
  6. Maintain a cooperative team spirit and support your peers.
Requirements:

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  1. A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly.
  2. Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
  3. Certificate III or Cert IV in Leisure and Health or Individual Support or similar.
  4. Ability to establish and maintain professional and appropriate relationships with residents and their families.
  5. A reliable team player.
  6. Commitment to respecting the values, customs, preferences and spiritual beliefs of residents.
