We are seeking a dedicated Professional Care Coordinator to provide essential lifestyle, social and wellbeing services for our residents.

About the Role

">
  • Encourage resident choice and participation in individual and group activities
  • Assist in the design, delivery and monitoring of group and individual lifestyle services and activities
  • Implement innovative events and lifestyle activities for residents and where possible involving the wider community, volunteers and residents' family and friends
  • Provide direct resident care during activities such as bus trips, including assisting with personal hygiene and toileting
  • Provide direct resident care in relation to meals service, mobility and social support
  • Support your peers and maintain a cooperative team spirit
  • Work in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents closely following all policies and procedures

Requirements

">
  • A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Certificate III or Cert IV in Leisure and Health or Individual Support or similar
  • Able to establish and maintain professional and appropriate relationships with residents and their families
  • A reliable team player
  • Commitment to respecting the values, customs, preferences and spiritual beliefs of residents
