Job Overview

Civil engineers play a vital role in shaping the built environment. They work on diverse projects, including commercial and residential buildings, high-rise structures, and infrastructure. As a civil designer, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team, delivering cost-effective and sustainable solutions.

About the Role

You will be responsible for creating detailed civil designs and drafting documentation. This includes earthworks and grading, roadworks and footpaths, sewer and water reticulation, and car parks and vehicle accessways. You will also interpret engineering sketches and prepare drawings according to Australian Standards and WA-specific requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Create detailed civil designs and drafting documents
  • Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and external consultants
  • Maintain and update CAD and 12D models throughout project lifecycles
  • Participate in design reviews and implement mark-ups
Requirements
  • 3–5 years' relevant civil design experience in WA
  • Beginner to intermediate 12D experience
  • Advanced skills in AutoCAD; exposure to Civil 3D and/or Revit is desirable
  • Strong knowledge of Australian Standards, Austroads Guidelines, and local authority requirements
