About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate General Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our club in Ryde. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the club's success and delivering an exceptional experience for our members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the team to achieve sales, customer service, and employee engagement goals.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and improve member satisfaction.
  • Recruit, select, and train staff to ensure a high-performing team.
  • Manage and develop staff within the club to achieve excellence standards.
  • Actively participate in ongoing communication with the Executive Team, Heads of Departments, and staff.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in management, preferably in the fitness or retail industry.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to see the bigger picture.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to think quickly and make timely decisions.
  • Demonstrated experience driving team results and developing staff.
  • P&L experience and effective problem-solving skills.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to work a rotating roster.
