We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor to lead our Basic and Clinical Sciences (BCS) domain in the Fremantle Doctor of Medicine (MD) program.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement innovative teaching methods for BCS, incorporating pedagogical advances and technology-enhanced learning.
- Contribute to the review and renewal of the BCS curriculum and learning objectives, ensuring alignment with the University's strategic goals.
- Collaborate with the assessment team to design and implement formative, summative, and continuous assessments that promote student learning and achievement.
- Liaise with Biomedical Sciences and other related programs to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Represent BCS on committees and teach in the MD or other programs as needed, promoting academic excellence and innovation.
- Supervise and conduct research in areas relevant to BCS, contributing to the University's research reputation and impact.
- Adhere to University policies, procedures, and additional duties as assigned, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and professionalism.
- Possess a PhD or equivalent accreditation and standing, with a strong track record of academic excellence and research productivity.
- Experience teaching at Masters level or in medical, health, or professional practice education, with a focus on innovative pedagogies and assessment strategies.
- Demonstrated leadership in major educational initiatives and enhancements, with a proven ability to inspire and motivate colleagues and students.
- Sustained contributions to staff development through leadership in peer review and mentorship, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Record of peer-reviewed publications and citations in top educational journals, demonstrating a commitment to scholarly activity and knowledge sharing.
- Recognised as an authority or nationally renowned in your discipline, with a strong reputation for academic excellence and leadership.
- Leadership in digital pedagogical enhancements, governance, and management of the school, with a focus on innovation and strategic planning.
