About the Role

The University of Notre Dame Australia is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Academic Staff Member to join our School of Health Sciences as a Lecturer in Physiotherapy. This is a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the teaching and research efforts of the institution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct tutorials, practical classes, demonstrations, workshops, student field excursions, clinical sessions, and studio sessions.
  • Develop and initiate subject material, including lectures and seminars.
  • Act as subject coordinators and supervise the program of study of honours students or postgraduate students engaged in coursework.
  • Conduct research and engage in professional activities.
  • Develop course material with advice from and support of more senior staff.
  • Mark and assess student work, consult with students, and perform administrative functions related to the subjects taught.
  • Attend departmental and faculty meetings and participate in committees as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A doctoral degree or equivalent accreditation and standing in the relevant discipline area.
  • Significant experience in tertiary education or equivalent industry experience in the relevant discipline area.
  • Supportive of the Objects of Notre Dame as a Catholic University.
