Medication Safety Consultant

This role presents an exceptional opportunity to excel as a Medication Safety Specialist, leveraging expertise in clinical settings to drive patient care and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead the sales process to achieve/exceed sales targets;
  • Deliver product training, clinical procedure training, and technical assistance to customers as required;
  • Develop tailored education programs and consultation services to meet individual customer needs;
  • Manage time effectively to ensure all products and services offered are supported in each account;
  • Maintain an accurate up-to-date CRM database of all accounts;
  • Prioritize industry events and conferences to enhance professional growth;
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key customers and opinion leaders;
  • Foster collaboration with Marketing and Sales Management to refine product support tools and educational material;
  • Support Account Managers in learning new clinical areas and addressing knowledge gaps;
  • Coordinate efforts with Account Managers and Specialists to ensure seamless information sharing and a cohesive approach to customer and business needs.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years clinical experience as a Registered Nurse or Pharmacist in an acute care facility;
  • Comprehensive understanding of hospital medication processes and the challenges associated with medication safety;
  • Experience in adult education and training;
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills;
  • Strong computer skills with experience in database management and data analysis;
  • Analytical, problem-solving skills;
  • Evidence of effective documentation, planning, prioritisation, and organizing skills;
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines;
  • Knowledge of medication safety initiatives within the healthcare industry;
  • Capacity for creative thinking and lateral problem-solving;
  • High attention to detail.

Additional Requirements:

  • Able to work flexible hours and occasionally travel domestically and internationally;
  • Hold a valid driver's license.
