We're looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our KinCare team as a Home Care Worker. As a permanent part-time employee, you'll be working close to home in the beautiful Shoalhaven area.

About the Role
  • Domestic Assistance: Ensure older people have a safe and comfortable living environment by providing cleaning services and maintaining their homes.
  • Assist with meal preparation and shopping to promote healthy eating habits.
  • Provide social support and transport to lifestyle activities, fostering connections within the community.
  • Personal care includes helping customers with daily tasks such as getting up, showering, dressing, medication management, mobility assistance, and therapy goals.
  • Offer respite and emotional support to alleviate stress and anxiety.
  • Transport customers to appointments, promoting accessibility and independence.

Requirements
  • You're passionate about assisting older adults and promoting independence.
  • You hold a current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle – travel is an essential part of the role.
  • You're adaptable and able to manage challenging situations while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • You're available to work at least 3 days, Monday to Friday, without night or weekend shifts.
  • You're comfortable working independently and finding solutions to everyday problems, knowing when to seek guidance from your Manager.
