Customer Service Representative Opportunity

A chance to develop your customer service and account management skills in a dynamic role supporting clients from Melbourne.

You will serve as a key representative for international clients, managing inquiries, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring client needs are met with professionalism and initiative.

This is a full-time role based in Melbourne's northern suburbs. While prior industry knowledge is an advantage, candidates who meet the requirements but are new to the industry are also encouraged to apply, as structured training will be provided to ensure success.

Your Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage customer inquiries, quotes, and orders with precision
  2. Recommend products and tailored solutions to meet client requirements
  3. Partner with sales, production, and engineering teams to resolve issues effectively
  4. Maintain and share critical customer information across departments
  5. Support account management through proactive follow-ups
  6. Drive the sales process forward with outbound calls and relationship building
  7. Coordinate with internal stakeholders (credit, assembly, technical support)
  8. Take ownership of additional tasks to strengthen client service and business outcomes
The Ideal Candidate
  • Excellent command of business Japanese and English, with the ability to communicate confidently in both languages
  • Approximately 5–10 years of professional experience, ideally in industrial sales, technical support, or equipment-related roles
  • Strong logical thinking and problem-solving ability, able to navigate complex client demands
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the confidence to manage demanding stakeholders
  • Proven ability to handle multiple priorities and drive issues to resolution
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office and business systems (Oracle or similar ERP experience an advantage)
  • Service-minded, proactive, and resilient, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • A collaborative team player who can also work independently with initiative
