We are seeking a highly skilled Works Officer to lead our Civil Infrastructure team in delivering projects across the City of Melbourne.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating site safety and quality assurance of civil projects. This involves monitoring subcontractors, conducting site audits, setting up traffic management, and completing relevant documentation.

Key responsibilities include supporting the Engineer with project delivery, ordering materials, and coordinating works. The Works Officer will also undertake quality assurance through monitoring construction, ensuring compliance, and completing Test Plans.

Liaison with stakeholders and the residential community is essential in managing project delivery and related issues. Additionally, the successful candidate must continually improve site safety and quality assurance, project management, and works coordination.

The role requires a strong customer service ethic, excellent communication skills, and planning and organisational abilities. A self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and a high level of learning agility is essential. The successful candidate must have good knowledge of OHS and environmental compliance requirements, as well as a full Victorian Driver's licence.

Desirable qualifications include a Forklift licence and White Card. However, these are not essential for the role.
