
Legacy Fundraising Specialist

Job Overview:
As a Specialist in Legacy Fundraising, you will play a key role in building a sustainable portfolio of intenders, considerers, and confirmed bequestors. You will contribute to the implementation of cultivation activities designed to deepen engagement with these supporters and grow long-term revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the development and coordination of a multi-faceted, end-to-end direct marketing legacy program to help identify, acquire, and convert leads into the Living Legacy Pipeline from both known Red Cross supporters and cold prospecting activities.
- Support the management of relationships with key third-party suppliers, including telemarketing agencies, mail houses, and freelance copywriters and designers, to ensure the effective and timely delivery of campaign components.
- Engage internal stakeholders to help maximise lead generation activities and conversion strategies across Fundraising, Partnerships, Members, Volunteers, and other relevant teams.
- Support the promotion of the legacy program to the public by helping cultivate leads and awareness through advertising and promotional activities across print and digital channels aimed at cold audience acquisition.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated ability supporting programs to acquire customers/donors and helping grow support into flourishing relationships.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail and the ability to adapt messaging to suit different audiences.
- Professional and approachable, with the maturity and diplomacy to engage respectfully with legacy supporters, potential supporters, and donors.
- Proven stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to successfully support and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
