
Senior Information Governance Lead

We are seeking an Information Governance Professional to join our team. This is a senior-level role that requires significant experience and expertise in information governance, data sovereignty frameworks, and business classification schemes.
Job DescriptionThis role plays a vital part in supporting our organisation's risk management processes by implementing high-quality information governance across the enterprise. As a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, you will ensure alignment with internal policies, frameworks, and jurisdictional regulatory requirements.
You will be responsible for maintaining enterprise-wide tools to support information governance processes, providing advice on frameworks to global stakeholders, and contributing to the continuous improvement of governance practices. You will collaborate with teams across the organisation to promote best practices, ensure compliance with industry and international standards, and help drive operational excellence in a highly regulated environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Sound knowledge and experience in information governance, including records and information management, data sovereignty frameworks, and working with business classification schemes
- Exposure to and understanding of technology platforms and solutions underpinning information governance
- Collaborative approach with a proactive and problem-solving mindset, and the ability to work effectively in a global business environment
- Strong skills in Microsoft 365 applications, including PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, and Excel
- Experience in a complex business environment, preferably in financial services or other highly regulated industries
