Job Description

The Senior Information Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping the agency's information governance strategy, ensuring the effective and secure management of both electronic and physical records.

This senior position leads the development and implementation of the INSW information strategy and roadmap, aligning systems and practices with best-practice standards and business needs.

Key responsibilities include designing and overseeing the information and records management program, managing robust information management systems, policies, and processes, and establishing standards for data classification and taxonomies.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Information Management, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with records/content management systems and information retrieval.
  • A strategic mindset and technical expertise to drive improvements in information governance.

Experience in Microsoft SharePoint and Purview is advantageous.
