Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Coordinator to join our Surgical Bookings team at Calvary Care.

About the Role

This permanent position will provide administrative and operational support to the Surgical Bookings team, ensuring efficient administrative services and operational functions are carried out in a timely manner.

Main Responsibilities
  • Coordinate bookings and theatre lists, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is maintained;
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to theatres, including liaison with VMOs and internal stakeholders;
  • Fund checking and management of incoming mail and emails;
  • Liaise with patients, doctors, and other hospital staff to ensure smooth communication and coordination.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in administrative roles, preferably in a healthcare setting;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of clients;
  • Effective decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Computer literacy, including proficiency in patient administration systems and Microsoft Office;
  • Knowledge of privacy and confidentiality requirements, with the ability to maintain confidential records and handle sensitive information.
