Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in Port Macquarie, NSW. As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will work closely with clients, employers, and medical professionals to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Case management and caseload management
  • Applying clinical knowledge to improve return-to-work outcomes
  • Developing and implementing injury prevention and workplace education programs
  • Collaborating with injured workers, employers, medical, and allied health professionals
  • Working across various schemes, including workers' compensation, compulsory third-party, life insurance, Comcare, and employer-funded injury prevention programs
  • Assisting clients with injuries or health conditions to achieve return-to-health and return-to-work outcomes
  • Completing assessments using clinical skills, including initial, workplace, and vocational assessments

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and registration with AHPRA
  • Previous experience working in occupational rehabilitation is highly regarded
  • Fabulous communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Compassion, kindness, and empathy
  • Well-developed time management skills and the ability to work independently
  • A current NSW Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
