Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team at IPAR. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of conditions, both physical and psychological.
Key Responsibilities
- Case management and development of individualized rehabilitation plans
- Applying clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes
- Working with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs
- Collaborating with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals
- Working across various schemes, including workers compensation, compulsory third party, life insurance, Comcare, Department of Veteran's Affairs, and employer-funded injury prevention programs
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy registration with AHPRA
- Previous experience working in Occupational Rehabilitation industry highly regarded
- Fabulous communication skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders
- Compassion and kindness, with empathy and understanding of clients' needs
- Well-developed time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
