About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Pre-Works Coordinator to join our team at Service Stream. As a key member of our Network Intelligence & Operations Centre (NIOC), you'll play a critical role in supporting the planning, scheduling, and preparation of works on Victoria's road network.

Reporting to the Pre-Works Lead, you'll be responsible for preparing and optimizing daily, weekly, and fortnightly works schedules in line with Section 750 PB requirements and approved maintenance programs. You'll also create work packs, assign labour, plant, and materials requirements, and dispatch work packs to qualified and equipped internal crews and delivery partners.

With a strong focus on safety, service excellence, and sustainability, you'll work closely with our team to deliver high-quality results and contribute to the success of our operations.

About You

We're looking for someone with at least three years' experience in a road maintenance or civil works environment, including at least two years' experience carrying out detailed planning of maintenance and/or construction tasks on state or local road networks.

You'll have a strong understanding of work methodologies for road maintenance operations, including safety, traffic management, access, permit, and licensing requirements. You'll also have exceptional time-management skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
