About the Role:


At Hooker & Heijden, we are seeking an experienced insurance professional to lead our Perth branch and oversee operations for the Broome branch. As a strategic Branch Manager, you will drive business growth, manage a talented team, and ensure the successful delivery of exceptional insurance solutions across both locations.


Key Responsibilities:



  2. Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of 7 staff across both Perth and Broome. Your leadership will focus on driving a high-performance culture that empowers employees to excel.
  3. Strategic Business Development: Develop and implement strategies for business growth, including client acquisition, retention, and expansion. You will identify opportunities to strengthen relationships with existing clients while also cultivating new business to drive long-term growth across both branches.
  4. Client Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with key clients in both Perth and Broome. You will be responsible for ensuring that Hooker & Heijden provides exceptional service, delivers tailored insurance solutions, and consistently meets or exceeds client expectations.
  5. Financial Management and Growth: Take full responsibility for the financial performance of both the Perth and Broome branches. This includes tracking performance metrics, ensuring profitability, and leading the branches toward sustainable revenue growth.
  6. Operational Excellence: Oversee the day-to-day operations of both branches, ensuring that both locations run smoothly and efficiently. You will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, streamline workflows, and continuously improve processes to enhance client service and operational efficiency.
  7. Collaboration and Reporting: Work closely with senior leadership to provide regular performance reports, feedback, and updates on key strategic initiatives. You will contribute to broader business objectives and ensure that both branches are aligned with the overall goals of Hooker & Heijden.
  8. Brand Representation and Market Leadership: Represent Hooker & Heijden as a leading brand in both Perth and Broome. Participate in industry events, local business initiatives, and networking opportunities to enhance the brokerage's reputation, attract new clients, and maintain strong relationships within the market.

Requirements:



  • At least 7 years of strong broking experience
  • Proven leadership experience with a history of building high-performing teams
  • Business development and strategic acumen with a successful track record of acquiring new clients
  • Financial and analytical expertise with experience overseeing branch performance
  • In-depth insurance knowledge with a Tier 1 qualification in Insurance Broking
  • Client-centric approach with a passion for delivering exceptional client service
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Results-oriented and self-motivated with a focus on achieving business goals
