About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Executive Director to lead our insurance branch operations in Perth and Broome. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, managing a talented team, and ensuring the successful delivery of exceptional insurance solutions across both locations.

The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of strong broking experience, with a proven track record in insurance leadership and the ability to manage multiple locations. You will have a deep understanding of insurance products and risk management, as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of 7 staff across both Perth and Broome, driving a high-performance culture that empowers employees to excel.
  • Strategic Business Development: Develop and implement strategies for business growth, including client acquisition, retention, and expansion.
  • Client Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with key clients in both Perth and Broome, ensuring exceptional service, tailored insurance solutions, and consistently meeting or exceeding client expectations.
  • Financial Management and Growth: Take full responsibility for the financial performance of both the Perth and Broome branches, tracking performance metrics, ensuring profitability, and leading the branches toward sustainable revenue growth.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee the day-to-day operations of both branches, ensuring smooth and efficient operations, compliance with regulatory requirements, and continuous process improvement.

Requirements

  • A Tier 1 qualification in Insurance Broking is essential.
  • Diploma of Financial Services (Insurance Broking) or similar qualifications are highly desirable.
  • At least 7 years of proven experience in broking, with a comprehensive understanding of insurance products and client services.
  • Previous experience managing multiple locations or branches is highly desirable.
