Job Overview

This role involves providing high-quality and timely support services for underground mining operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in the development and production of targeted ore to ensure operational targets are met safely, efficiently, and in an environmentally compliant manner.

About the Position

  • The successful applicant will carry out operational tasks related to ventilation, water, power, ground support, and compressed air
  • Operate tools and equipment such as elevated work platforms, integrated tool carriers, light vehicles, and other hydraulically operated mobile machinery
  • Support efficient operation by providing reliable and accurate knowledge to minimize downtime
  • Provide preventative maintenance through scheduled inspections, servicing, adjustments, troubleshooting, and organizing timely repairs of operating equipment
  • Action tasks in accordance with environmental policies, controlling, containing, cleaning up, and communicating all environmental spills, particularly oil and hydraulic leaks

About You

  • A minimum of experience in underground operations in a service or paste crew capacity is essential
  • Truck Operation experience is highly advantageous
  • Dangerous Goods and Working at Heights Ticket is required
  • A valid manual drivers' licence is essential
