This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a HR Business Partner. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for providing strategic HR support to operational leaders and teams across multiple local work sites.

The ideal candidate will have 5 years' experience in a generalist HR or HRBP role, ideally in operational or multi-site environments. You will need strong knowledge of Australian HR legislation and frameworks, including Fair Work, Awards, ER and IR matters.

A relationship builder with excellent interpersonal skills and a bias for action, you will be able to work autonomously, manage sensitive matters, and build quiet influence. Based in or open to relocating to Geraldton, you will enjoy a relaxed coastal lifestyle with the perks of a regional city.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partnering with supervisors and managers on HR matters ranging from onboarding to conduct, performance, IR and injury management
  • Coaching frontline leaders and supporting them through people related challenges
  • Responding to on the ground HR issues with sound judgement and a calm, considered approach
  • Supporting change, workforce planning and capability initiatives
  • Working closely with WHS and operations teams to create a safe and compliant environment

Requirements:
